Concept of Storyboard
After you have prepared a complete script and budget planning, you can start to draw your own storyboard. The purposes of drawing storyboard are to:

  • Preview whole story in virtual format
  • Preview Shot, Scene, Actor, Props
  • For distribute your budget on equipment

Through the storyboard, you can preview your indie DV film before you move on to the production stage. Once you notice something missing or think the story not very good, you are allowed to change it again and again because this process is very low budget.

Don’t try to start shooting WITHOUT the help of storyboard, otherwise you may risk missing something or increasing the production cost.
