About The Wine
Grapes grown on easterly facing slopes from Franschhoek, hand-picked and fermented in an open fermentation tank with manual punch downs 4 times a day until dry. Malolactic fermentation was done in small French barrels. Barrel matured for 14 months before bottling.
Tasting Note
Intense black fruit aromas with layers of juicy plums, berries and spice on the finish. Velvety tannins and subtle oak flavour. Excellent accompaniment to roast duck, ostrich or veal.
