About The Wine
Grapes grown on slopes from Franschhoek, Wellington and Breederiver Valley vineyards. Harvest 100% by hand and fermented in an open fermentation tank with manual punch downs 2-4 times a day until dry. Malolactic fermentationwas done in French barrels and barrel matured for 18 months before blending and bottling. Tasting Note
Layered with lashings of redcurrant and mulberry with subtle hints of spice and white pepper. Elegance and structured tannins. Fresh juicy balanced acidity and very subtle oak with hints of clove. Excellent accompaniment to game, spare ribs, steak, roast beef and slightly spicy lamb dishes.
