About The Wine
This wine is made by The Terre Nere Estate on the south-eastern flank of the hill near the Velona Castle in Montalcino - unique maritime-alpine climate with an expression of terroir through the Sangiovese grapes and the traditional use of oak. Strictly followed the standards set by "Consorzio del Brunello di Montalcino", this wine matured in oak barrel for 4 years and aged 6-12 months in bottle before release.
Tasting Note
Deep ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Intense berries, red fruits, followed with spices aromas. Rounded tannin, complex structures with soft and lingering finish. Great companion with steak, mushrooms and hard cheese.
